2020-02-02 10:35:21

  In the nationwide battle against the novel coronavirus, China Continent Insurance (CCIC), the primary P&C insurance sector of China Re Group, has pitched in to provide uninterrupted insurance services during the Spring Festival holiday.

  CCIC Hubei branch’s claim adjusters stand on the very frontlines of the outbreak. Committed to do their bits to help curb the epidemic, they have raced against time to serve clients, leaving footprints in the most-infected land with no complaint but a strong sense of responsibility.

  Despite the coronavirus outbreak, frontline claim personnel with CCIC Hubei branch put on mask protection, followed strict preventive measures, and stuck to their posts:

  On January 24, the eve of Spring Festival, Chen Wei with CCIC Hubei Shiyan sub-branch was on duty to direct the traffic flow, coordinating traffic accident vehicle rescue work;

  On January 25, the first day of lunar New Year, Yang Kaiyuan with CCIC Hubei Enshi sub-branch made an hour’s drive to settle a road accident. His timely and considerate insurance service earned him warm praises from the insured;

  On January 26, two confirmed novel coronavirus pneumonia infection cases in Hanyang, Wuhan were reported to CICC Hubei branch. The company contacted family members of the sixty-year-old infected couple at once, offering subsequent claim settlement for the infected;

  On January 26, Li Jun, General Department Manager of CCIC Hubei Enshi sub-branch, encouraged his wife, a nurse with University Hospital of Hubei University for Nationalities, to serve as frontline medic; on the same day, claim adjuster Li Tao rushed to the site of a rollover accident for rescue work;

  On January 27, CCIC Hubei sub-branch initiated direct insurance services for 3,000 Wuhan urban management and law enforcement personnel, arranging group accident insurance coverage for coronavirus-related pneumonia. This insurance type gives much-needed supports for units and individuals serving the disease prevention and controlling sector;

  On January 29, Wang Can with CCIC Hubei Enshi sub-branch ran the risk of virus infection, and arrived immediately upon an insured’s call. Wang informed the claim settlement process and patiently assured the clients to bear no worries…

  Longtime mask-wearing left these frontline claim adjusters pressure sores, but regardless of the disease outbreak and the bitter cold, CCIC Hubei sub-branch chooses to prioritize the insureds’ needs, and pledges to deliver their promises, even when it's hard – especially when it's hard.
