China Re Group and the Institute of Geophysics of the China Earthquake Administrationentered into the Postdoctoral Joint Training Agreement
On 22 August, China Re Group and the China Earthquake Administration of the Institute of Geophysics entered into the Postdoctoral Joint Training Agreement in Beijing. Mr. He Chunlei, the Executive Vice President of China Re Group, Mr. Zhang Dongning, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Geophysics of the China Earthquake Administration, and Mr. Li Xiaojun, the former Deputy Director, attended the signing ceremony. Mr. Qin Hongbo, the chief strategy officer of China Re Group, and Mr. Zhang Dongning, the Deputy Director, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
According to the speech given by Mr. He Chunlei, the Executive Vice President of China Re Group, both the China Earthquake Administration of the Institute of Geophysics and China Re Group play active roles in the national earthquake risk management system, and have established a good cooperative partnership. Both parties will fully utilize their respective platforms, data, technologies and information, to build up a pool of talent in practical researches and expand the research domains, thereby contributing their ideas and efforts to resolve the problems arising from the development of the earthquake risk management in China.
According to the speech given by Mr. Zhang Dongning, the Deputy Director of the China Earthquake Administration of the Institute of Geophysics, the China Earthquake Administration is one of the first postdoctoral research centers in China in the last century. It has nurtured many excellent postdoctoral candidates. It is believed that both parties will nurture more outstanding postdoctoral candidates via the cooperation. The China Earthquake Administration will strive to provide relevant cooperative and technological conditions for the employees of the postdoctoral stations of China Re Group from now on, and will jointly participate in the assessment and evaluation process, so as to lay a solid foundation for the success in joint training.
